LCFC REC

Why LCFC Recreational Soccer?

Licking County Football Club (LCFC) Rec, formerly NASA, is built for families looking for a positive, fun, and community-focused soccer experience. Our recreational program emphasizes learning the game, building confidence, and enjoying soccer in a supportive environment.

LCFC Rec is open and accessible to players of all skill levels. Practices and games are designed to teach fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with an emphasis on effort and improvement rather than results. Our teams are led by volunteer coaches who are supported with clear guidance and age-appropriate expectations.

The club is supported by the Buckeye Valley Family YMCA, providing organizational support and stability while keeping the focus on community soccer. With new uniforms launching this fall, LCFC Rec continues to offer a consistent, welcoming place for players to learn and play the game.

Above all, LCFC Rec is about helping kids enjoy soccer, make friends, and feel part of something positive in their local community.

Little Kickers program is a clinic style class. The Little Kickers learn basic skills through fun soccer activities. There may be activities where parents participate.

The players need to bring a #3 ball, a water bottle and wear seasonal appropriate clothes. They do not need to have a uniform or cleats, but shin guards are good for them to get used to.
